Job Opportunity

This is a Senior Clinician position for the Youth Mental Health Initiative. The role involves providing trauma-informed, culturally safe, intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex and severe mental health concerns.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve service goals and improve consumer care and outcomes. They will also be responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality clinical services to young people with complex and severe mental health needs.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to develop streamlined referral pathways and ensure timely transition of care between services.
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.

Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Extensive post-graduate clinical experience and knowledge in evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their carers.
  • Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
