Senior Clinician, Youth Mental Health Initiative
This leadership role involves delivering intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex mental health concerns.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to improve early access to care for 12–25 year olds presenting to headspace services with severe and complex needs.
- Contribute to service development and support the delivery of integrated care pathways for youth mental health.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to staff and students.
- Lead ongoing quality improvement activities with staff and initiate, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Extensive post-graduate clinical experience and knowledge in evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their carers.
- Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
- Effective interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with information technology systems.
