About the Role

We're seeking a Track Protection Officer to join our team in Midland on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Track Protection Officer, you'll be responsible for coordinating and implementing rail safe-working rules and procedures across both PTA and Arc Infrastructure rail networks.

Your work will ensure the safety of our teams and smooth day-to-day rail operations during project works within the corridor.

Main Responsibilities
  • Apply safe-working rules and protection protocols for workgroups within the rail network.
  • Plan and implement protection arrangements for complex rail possessions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and pre-work briefings with site personnel.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with client representatives and stakeholders.
  • Uphold the highest health and safety standards across all rail activities.
  • Promote our company's values and actively contribute to our team culture.
About You

You're a safety-focused, experienced individual with excellent planning and communication skills.

We're looking for someone who is Perth-based and able to commute to Midland daily for work.

You'll also bring:

  • A current C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card with relevant PTA accreditations: Supervised Worker; Protection Officer Level 1-3; Person Responsible for Electrical Safety (PRES); Possession Protection Officer (PPO).
  • Track Access Permit (TAP) Card with relevant Arc Infrastructure accreditations: Supervised Worker; Protection Officer (incl POLO); POTV and PPO.
  • Proven experience coordinating rail safe-working for teams (e.g. Work on Track Authorities).
  • Flexibility to work weekends and nightshifts when required.
