About the Role

This position supports the delivery of School Based Apprenticeship programs by fostering business and industry partnerships. As Industry Liaison Officer, you will concentrate on establishing networks and collaborating with industry groups to promote School Based Apprenticeships as valuable career pathways for secondary students.

The role involves working on a part-time basis for 12 months, with a commitment of 60 hours per fortnight. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support in Senior Schooling, encompassing data management and student tracking.
  • Sourcing Australian School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
  • Promoting School Based Apprenticeships to employers and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining relationships with employers, training providers, and support agencies.
  • Fostering partnerships between schools and employers to facilitate student transitions to employment and career decision-making.
  • Identifying vocational training opportunities for students through transition to work programs.
Key Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Schooling team. This includes:

  • Data management and student tracking.
  • Sourcing Australian School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
  • Promoting School Based Apprenticeships to employers and stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with employers, training providers, and support agencies.
