The Position

This role will give you an opportunity to develop your IT skills alongside a team who are experienced and skilled in their profession.

This position would suit an already experienced IT Support Officer looking to broaden their IT knowledge and has proven problem-solving skills and is up for a challenge.

Your Responsibilities Include

The IT Support Officer is responsible for the day-to-day support of end user devices and manufacturing equipment across all sites and for all levels of end users, as well as participation in ongoing project work.

  • experience in troubleshooting hardware issues in end user devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones and printers
  • experience in troubleshooting software issues in Windows, Office 365, iOS
  • experience in managing users and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365 environments
  • experience in managing mobile devices via Mobile Device Management systems
  • experience in installation deployment of software and apps
  • an understanding of IP network addressing, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and vLAN's
  • an understanding of network hardware switches, routers and firewalls

be able to act as a point of contact for Level 1 technical queries and escalations

energetic, enthusiastic and willing to help others with their IT problems

ability to explain technical information in basic terms

strong written and oral communication skills together with a strong customer service focus

confidence and maturity
