Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a small team of grain handlers
  • Coordinate daily activities, coach and support the development of team members
  • Apply our enterprise agreement and people processes effectively
  • Nurture close relationships with local growers, customers, and the community
  • Coordinate maintenance and pest control teams
  • Identify and report on maintenance requirements and maintain site presentation and standards
  • Manage safety initiatives and risk management programmes

This busy site features two harvests - one in summer and one in winter. Witnessing local grain fill up silos and bunkers delivered by diverse and hardworking teams is incredibly rewarding.

Requirements:
  • Experience in plant operations (preferably in the grain industry)
  • Experience supervising, supporting and developing workgroups/individuals
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet operational demands
  • Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Current unrestricted driver's license and basic IT literacy
