Laboratory Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to manage laboratory operations in the absence of the Laboratory Manager.
About the Role- The successful candidate will oversee daily laboratory activities, ensuring analytical and technical services meet client expectations while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- You will lead laboratory personnel in providing high-quality results, adhering to safety protocols, quality standards, and production guidelines.
- Address any issues related to safety, quality, or human resources non-compliance.
- Perform analysis as specified in client contracts.
- Manage priorities and monitor progress to ensure timeliness and quality of results are met.
- Supervise laboratory personnel with respect to safety, quality, and production.
- Adhere to established site methods, procedures, and protocols.
- Data review and issue completed reports.
- Train staff to maintain and improve their knowledge and contribute towards the progression of the laboratory.
- Schedule regular maintenance.
- Experience in laboratory work and wet chemical knowledge.
- Experience in sample preparation.
- Experience in Acid Digest, AAS, and gold assay techniques.
- Experience in supervising staff.
- Basic understanding of computer applications.
