Job Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to build a career in retail with a focus on optical expertise.

The role of an Optical Assistant at our store provides a solid foundation for those looking to develop their skills in customer service, fashion, and optics.

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work with well-known brands, provide expert advice on glasses and contact lenses, and assist our optometrists with patient consultations.

  • Greet and assist customers, providing excellent service and building strong relationships.
  • Support our optometrists with patient consultations, learning about eye health and developing your knowledge of optics.
  • Work with a range of lens options to dispense glasses tailored to each customer's needs.

As you progress in your role, you will have opportunities to develop your leadership skills, working towards a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing and potentially taking on In-Store Trainer or Supervisor roles.

Our store teams are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we are committed to supporting your growth and development every step of the way.

With full training provided, this role is perfect for those looking to start a new career in retail or transition into a role that utilizes their existing skills and experience.
