Job Overview:

The Tenure Manager is responsible for ensuring all tenures are effectively managed and maintained in accordance with legislative and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Administering mining and exploration tenures, licences, and permits to ensure compliance with state legislation and reporting obligations.
  • Maintaining accurate tenure registers and ensuring data integrity by coordinating and preparing tenure applications, renewals, variations, and surrenders.
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement requirements with regulators, landholders, indigenous and community representatives regarding tenure matters.
  • Providing advice and reporting to project managers and senior leaders on tenure status, risks, and obligations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in tenure management, land administration, or related fields within the mining/resources sector.
  • Knowledge of QLD mining tenure, compliance, and Indigenous land access requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tenure management systems and MS Office Suite.
