About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support tenure compliance and land management for a major mining industry project in Brisbane.

This role will ensure all tenures are effectively managed and maintained in line with legislative and project requirements.

  • Administer mining and exploration tenures, licences, and permits.
  • Monitor tenure compliance with state legislation, conditions, and reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate and prepare tenure applications, renewals, variations, and surrenders.
  • Maintain accurate tenure registers and ensure data integrity.
  • Support stakeholder engagement requirements with regulators, landholders, indigenous and community representatives regarding tenure matters.
  • Provide advice and reporting to project managers and senior leaders on tenure status, risks, and obligations.
Requirements

You will need:

  • Experience in tenure management, land administration, or related fields within the mining/resources sector.
  • Knowledge of QLD mining tenure, compliance, and Indigenous land access requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tenure management systems and MS Office Suite.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of tenure management principles and practices. You will also need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
