About the Role

Ventia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of project progress, including monitoring construction execution and identifying potential delays or issues;
  • Managing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure all systems are up-to-date and reconciled according to construction progress;
  • Assisting in the reconciliation of the final Contract Sum/s in conjunction with the Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer;
  • Reporting construction variations to the project engineer and senior project engineer;
  • Verifying that the revised BOQ correlates to the Construction Work Packages (CWPs) and that all construction is accounted for on the Construction Report;
  • Ensuring all Completion artefacts are delivered on time;
  • Closing out CARs and defects in a timely manner;
  • Regularly reviewing trends in field issues and communicating these to the Project Engineer;
  • Participating in Lessons Learnt and Innovation workshops;
Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • High level of organizational and time management skills;
  • Experience working in a similar role within the construction industry;
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and procedures;
