We support over 9100 people daily across NSW, the ACT, and Qld, making us one of Australia's largest community-owned providers of independent living, aged care, and home care. Our network includes more than 40 communities and home care service hubs.

The Role

We are seeking warm, caring individuals to join our team as Volunteers at IRT Eurobodalla Aged Care Centres and Retirement Villages. As a Volunteer, you will make a positive difference in the lives of our residents by supporting their health and wellbeing.

Our volunteer program offers flexibility, informal interactions, personalised activities, and strengthens our ability to respond to individual preferences. We have various exciting volunteer opportunities available, including:

  • Spiritual Support
Requirements and Benefits

To be successful in this role, you will need good communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to undergo a National Criminal History Check and attend volunteer training sessions and inductions. In return, you will receive a thorough onboarding program and access to ongoing training relevant to your volunteer role.

All volunteers have access to a free and confidential Employment Assistance Program (EAP) providing support on personal and volunteer-related issues. This ensures that all volunteers feel supported throughout their journey with IRT.

We estimate the annual salary range for this position to be between $40,000 to $60,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. However, please note that this is an unpaid volunteer position.
