
Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and managing competing priorities.
About the Role:
As a Financial Analyst, you will prepare and present timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support the effective financial management of our business. You will thrive in developing positive relationships with stakeholders, such as residents & committees and by partnering with Community Managers to prepare village budgets, annual financial statements and quarterly financial statements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present quarterly financial statements and ad hoc monthly reports to stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of Annual Budgets in collaboration with Community Managers, Regional Operations Managers and Resident Committees.
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure financial statements are finalised within legislated timeframes.
- Leverage data-driven PowerBI dashboards to perform variance analysis and identify key focus areas.
- Ensure accurate GST coding and maintain compliant Balance Sheet reconciliations for allocated communities.
- Act as the primary contact for your Community Managers, providing accounting and administrative support.
- Build strong relationships with Resident Committees and assist with resolving financial concerns in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Assist in standardising finance processes and driving improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
- Champion continuous improvement and contribute to the efficiency and consistency of financial operations.

What You'll Bring:
- Degree qualification in Accounting or Finance, with CA or CPA accreditation (essential).
- Experience in a similar accounting or finance role (e.g. Financial Accountant, Analyst or Management Accountant).
- Exposure to Retirement Living, Aged Care, Property Management or Body Corporate legislation (highly desired, not essential).
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within Property, Retirement Living or Body Corporate Management.
- Ability to deliver high-quality financial insights and manage competing priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confident across other financial systems.
- Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required).
