Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Dispatch Supervisor. The successful candidate will work closely with the DC Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the Dispatch Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the Dispatch Team and support the Team Leader in overseeing work outcomes.
- Manage all freight enquiries and picking errors in a timely manner.
- Accountable for Picking and Packing of all orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Oversee daily dispatching and manifesting to hit dispatch deadlines.
- Manage set up, induction and training of new Team members.
- Manage training and support across all software/hardware e.g voice picking devices.
- Oversee processes and procedures for the Dispatch Team, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies within the Dispatch Team.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to team members in a timely manner.
- Assist DC Manager with Team performance reviews.
- In conjunction with the DC Manager, management of all WHS and safe workplace procedures and training for DC Team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in people management and results-driven team leadership.
- Advanced WMS and MS Office skills.
- A proven track record of driving Continuous Improvement initiatives.
The standard working hours at our Distribution Centre are Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm. However, hours may vary in peak and low times with consultation.
