About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Climbing Experience Leader to join our team at SkyPoint Climb, part of the Ardent Leisure Group. As a Climbing Experience Leader, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class experience to our guests, ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout their adventure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Conduct thorough safety briefings, assemble and check safety equipment, and monitor climber activities to ensure compliance with safety practices.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge about the Gold Coast and its surroundings, including icons, landmarks, and history, to provide engaging information to guests.
  • Photography and Sales: Capture high-quality photos of guests at various points throughout the climb and sell them at the end of the experience.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to relate to and converse with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Display highly developed problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding work, including working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Qualifications: Hold a current Apply First Aid and CPR certificate and a current Australian Work Safely at Heights Certificate, or be willing to obtain qualification prior to commencement.
