Port Infrastructure Project Opportunity

We are seeking experienced professionals to support a major port infrastructure project in Queensland.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on-site at a key bulk handling facility, evaluating critical structural assets, developing remediation scopes, and advising on long-term structural integrity strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate asset conditions.
  • Develop remediation scopes for structural integrity improvements.
  • Provide strategic advice on structural integrity management for critical port infrastructure.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing engineering team to fill knowledge gaps.
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align engineering solutions with long-term asset management objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience in asset management, bulk material handling, and civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of structural risk management and remediation strategies.
  • Prior experience working on-site in an operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage the structural integrity of large-scale industrial assets.
  • FIFO flexibility within Queensland or NSW (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
