Structural Integrity Expert - Port Infrastructure Project

We are seeking an experienced Structural Integrity Expert to support a major port infrastructure project in Queensland. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for assessing and improving the structural integrity of critical port assets.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on-site at a key bulk handling facility, evaluating structural assets, developing remediation scopes, and advising on long-term structural integrity strategies.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise in structural engineering and asset management to a high-impact project. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with our existing engineering team to fill key knowledge gaps and mentor less experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site structural assessments to evaluate asset conditions.
  • Develop remediation scopes for structural integrity improvements.
  • Provide strategic advice on structural integrity management for critical port infrastructure.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing engineering team to fill key knowledge gaps.
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (B.Eng.).
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience in asset management, bulk material handling, and civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of structural risk management and remediation strategies.
  • Prior experience working on-site in an operational environment.
