The Volunteer Manager role is a key leadership position within our organization. It involves managing and developing a team of Volunteer Coordinators who oversee volunteer services across designated business areas.
This role requires strategic leadership to enhance the effectiveness of volunteer programs and contribute to workforce planning through innovative solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with organizational goals, providing guidance to Volunteer Coordinators, and promoting positive aging and older persons' mental health initiatives.
Additionally, this role ensures that volunteer programs and activities align with the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement as set by Volunteering Australia.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in volunteer program management with at least 4 years
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
