About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to lead and develop a team of Volunteer Coordinators across various business areas. This role requires strategic leadership, effective communication, and strong relationship-building skills to drive volunteer program success.

  • Oversee the management and mentoring of Volunteer Coordinators to ensure they meet organisational goals.
  • Motivate and guide VC teams to enhance the quality of life for those in our care by implementing innovative solutions.
  • Engage in regular discussions with VCs regarding recruitment, volunteer engagement, service goals, compliance targets, and metrics to measure performance.
  • Facilitate Annual Development Meetings with direct reports and provide regular performance feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Foster strong relationships with Operational Managers to understand their priorities and collaborate on assessing volunteer team scope and identifying new service areas.
