At HammondCare, we seek a seasoned leader to spearhead our volunteer management initiatives. This pivotal role requires exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively guide a team of Volunteer Coordinators. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future of our volunteer program, ensuring seamless alignment with our organization's goals.

About the Role:

  • This is a mid-senior level position that demands expertise in volunteer program management, leadership, and mentorship.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in managing volunteer programs, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
  • We seek an individual who can motivate and guide VC teams to improve quality of life for those in our care through volunteer activities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Management and mentoring of Volunteer Coordinators
  • Build relationships with Operational Managers to understand strategic priorities and site requirements
  • Oversight of Volunteer Systems
  • Maximising the engagement of volunteers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Commitment to engaging and aligning with our Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action
  • Experience leading a team in a not-for-profit or aged care setting
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement – desirable
