Rural Speech Pathologist Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and community-based services, providing clinical services to adults and children with swallowing and communication difficulties.
This role offers a chance to develop your skills in communication, including speech, language, and fluency, as well as supporting clients to access AAC to meet their communication needs.
About UsThe Yorke and Northern Local Health Network encompasses a diverse region, including the Yorke Peninsula, Mid North, Spencer Gulf, Southern Flinders Ranges, and Clare Valley.

Key Responsibilities- To provide clinical services to adults and children with swallowing and communication difficulties in a variety of settings.
- To develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for our patients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Eligibility for practicing membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a rural or remote setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$34.49 - $42.10 per hour (AHP1) or $44.45 - $51.49 per hour (AHP2), plus 25% casual loading.
