Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, design and compliance of rehabilitation activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mine scheduling packages and project management, along with demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and ability to think logically, solve problems and work independently while maintaining a team focus.

Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will facilitate and manage the design, scheduling and quality control of rehabilitation activities.

  • Manage the design, scheduling and quality control of rehabilitation activities.
  • Facilitate site inspections and develop solutions for site challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Mining or Civil Engineering.
  • Exposure to mining software such as Deswik or Vulcan.
  • Experience in mine scheduling packages and project management.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to think logically, solve problems and work independently while maintaining a team focus.
