Role Overview
The Quality Systems Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving compliance and continuous improvement within VISY's fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the State Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing quality and food safety systems, leading external and internal audits, and ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of corrective actions.

VISY is a leader in packaging, manufacturing, and sustainability. Our Fibre Packaging division is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to join our team in Warwick Farm & Smithfield. As a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, auditors, and customers, you will maintain the integrity of our quality systems and ensure we meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain compliance with quality and food safety standards (ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000)
- Lead external and internal audit processes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of corrective actions
- Oversee document control and ensure systems are up to date with current protocols
- Conduct product testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with raw material and product specifications
- Collaborate with teams to analyse data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement action plans

- An estimated salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Requirements
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, both internal and external
- Lead Auditor qualification and hands-on experience with ISO9001, HACCP, and FSSC 22000
- Strong system management and continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to lead projects

About You
- FMCG or corrugated board industry experience is desirable
- Project management skills are highly valued
- You will be required to meet VISY's employment criteria, which includes a criminal history check and pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing
