We are looking for a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Wärtsilä, a leader in innovative technology and sustainable solutions. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Job Description

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits and inspections, and providing guidance and support to colleagues.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards;
  • Maintain accurate records of quality metrics and performance indicators;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues;
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards;
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement;
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills related to quality assurance;
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related matters;
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, quality assurance);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field;
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other software tools relevant to the role.
