About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety;
  2. Conducting audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement;
  3. Collaborating with clinical teams to develop and implement policies and procedures;
  4. Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement;
  5. Providing education and training to staff on quality and safety issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field (e.g. nursing, medicine, public health);
  • Experience in quality assurance or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will also need to have a current working with children check and other relevant certifications as required by the Australian Government.
