Key Projects Include:

  • Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR): Implemented Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) for large-scale deployments in Queensland.
  • Sydney Water: Developed a new strategy for planning and scheduling maintenance of mechanical and electrical assets.

  • Energy Rating: Designed a website for evaluating and issuing energy ratings for electrical appliances.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a pivotal AWS Champion, responsible for maintaining and implementing AWS cloud infrastructure solutions across diverse client projects.

Your Daily Activities May Include:

  • Collaborating with clients and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Deploying cloud solutions focused on availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Creating automation scripts and employing infrastructure as code techniques for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Enhancing system security and observability through effective monitoring.
  • Ensuring adherence to information security management policies.
  • Assisting in the design and documentation of technical specifications.
  • Managing your workflow to achieve outstanding results within budget and time constraints.
  • Continuously learning and adapting to the latest technological advancements.
  • Occasionally providing support outside of standard hours to maintain application availability.

Candidate Profile:

We seek a Cloud Engineer with substantial experience in deploying and managing AWS Cloud environments.

Preferred Skills Include:

  • DevOps Expertise: Proficient in automating builds, deployments, and monitoring to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Snowflake: Experience in data storage and management, including administrative tasks and data optimization.
  • Terraform: Familiarity with automating cloud infrastructure and scripting for resource management.
  • AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
  • AWS CodePipeline: Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments.
  • AWS Lambda: Skills in managing serverless applications and event-driven tasks.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Proficient in using tools like CloudWatch for system oversight.
  • Security Awareness: Knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance standards.
