Your Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a key AWS advocate, essential in maintaining, delivering, and implementing AWS cloud infrastructure solutions across various client projects and architectures.
A typical day may include:
- Collaborating with clients and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, solution design, testing, deployment, support, and post-mortem analysis.
- Implementing cloud solutions that prioritize availability, reliability, and performance.
- Creating automation scripts and utilizing infrastructure as code techniques to establish CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhancing system security, implementing monitoring, and improving system observability.
- Ensuring adherence to information security management systems and policies.
- Assisting in the design and documentation of technical specifications for hosted architecture.
- Managing your workflow to achieve outstanding results within budget and timelines.
- Proactively pursuing learning opportunities to stay updated with the latest technologies.
- Occasionally addressing urgent issues outside of standard working hours to maintain application availability.
Your Profile:
To excel in this position, we seek a Cloud Engineer with demonstrated experience in deploying, maintaining, and supporting AWS Cloud environments.
Preferred Skills:
- DevOps Practices: Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience in automating builds, deployments, and monitoring to enhance operational efficiency.
- Snowflake: Proficient in managing data storage and administration tasks using Snowflake.
- Terraform: Experience in automating cloud infrastructure and scripting with Terraform.
- AWS Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS, with skills in designing scalable cloud environments.
- AWS CodePipeline: Expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline.
- AWS Lambda: Proficient in creating and managing serverless applications with AWS Lambda.
- Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with tools like CloudWatch for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Security: Knowledge of cloud security practices, including IAM and compliance standards.
