Key Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a pivotal AWS Champion, responsible for maintaining, delivering, and implementing AWS cloud infrastructure solutions across diverse client projects and architectures.
Your typical responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating directly with clients and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, solution design, testing, deployment, support, root cause analysis, and post-mortem evaluations.
- Deploying cloud solutions that prioritize availability, reliability, and performance.
- Creating automation scripts and utilizing infrastructure as code techniques to implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Securing systems and networks, implementing monitoring, and enhancing system observability.
- Ensuring compliance with information security management systems and policies.
- Assisting in the design and documentation of technical specifications for hosted architecture.
- Managing your own workflow to achieve outstanding outcomes within budget and timelines.
- Proactively pursuing learning and growth by staying updated on the latest developments and technologies.
- Occasionally providing support outside of standard working hours to ensure the availability of hosted applications.
About You
To excel in this role, we seek a Cloud Engineer with demonstrated experience in deploying, maintaining, and supporting AWS Cloud environments.
Preferred Skills:
- DevOps Practices: A solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience in automating builds, deployments, and monitoring to enhance software development and operational efficiency.
- Snowflake: Proficient in using Snowflake for data storage and management, including administrative tasks, data loading, querying, and optimization.
- Terraform: Experience with Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure and writing scripts for resource management.
- AWS Cloud: Hands-on experience with key AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS, with skills in designing and managing scalable cloud environments.
- AWS CodePipeline: Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline to streamline code, configuration, and infrastructure deployments.
- AWS Lambda: Proficient in creating and managing serverless applications with AWS Lambda and handling event-driven tasks using AWS tools and services.
- Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with tools like CloudWatch to ensure system performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Security: Knowledge of maintaining secure cloud environments, including familiarity with IAM, security groups, and compliance standards.
