About the Role:

Lime Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract with possible extension. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our multi-cloud, multi-region Data Lake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate and maintain cloud infrastructure using software engineering approaches, including IaaS, peer reviews, and CI/CD.
  • Integrate AWS and Azure data cloud services with Python-based microservices and monitoring tools.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and stability of the platform cloud infrastructure.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of cloud tools and technologies to improve cloud management processes.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in a Cloud Engineering or DevOps role, creating and maintaining resilient and scalable cloud resources in an AWS (preferably) and/or Azure environment.
  • Expertise/certification in AWS/Azure and experience working with DevOps infrastructure tools such as GitHub/Azure DevOps, Terraform/OpenTOFU, ARM, Docker, Artifactory, etc.
  • Proficient in one or more scripting or programming languages (Bash and Python will be of benefit).
  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate technical, architectural, and business problems, propose iterative solutions, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environment, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation.
