Key Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead our self-insurance business, driving growth through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship-building.

Specific Tasks Include:
  • Developing business strategies to enhance the self-insurance division's performance.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Collaborating with marketing and other divisions to enhance brand awareness and leverage cross-market opportunities.
  • Delivering staff training and professional development activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 7-10+ years of industry experience in injury management, claims, or related fields.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of medical protocols, Work Health and Safety practices, and relevant legislation.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Analytical skills and preparedness to work with internal AI tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Disability Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity Legislation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable but not essential.
