Job Description

This is more than a job - it's your chance to transform governance and risk in a regional council. We are stepping into a new era defined by transparency, accountability, and bold reform. As Manager Governance & Risk Services, you will be a key architect of this transformation.

You will drive strategic governance frameworks that lift organisational performance. This includes overseeing corporate documents such as the Corporate Plan, Operational Plan, and Annual Report. You will also coordinate the Audit & Risk Committee and deliver targeted internal audit programs.

You will not be doing it alone. You will be supported by a dedicated Governance Officer and a high-performing Communications team.

Your Role
  1. Drive strategic governance and enterprise risk frameworks that improve organisational performance.
  2. Oversee the development of corporate documents including the Corporate Plan, Operational Plan, and Annual Report.
  3. Coordinate the Audit & Risk Committee and lead internal audit programs.
