Job Role Overview

The role of Senior Waterproofing Remedial Consultant involves providing technical expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work.

This position supports litigation efforts through expert witness evidence and reporting, and provides critical evaluation of building envelope performance. Expert input is also provided on the design and construction of building envelopes with a strong emphasis on waterproofing systems.

  • Provide technical expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems (weatherproofing) for design and oversight of technical work
  • Support litigation efforts through expert witness evidence and reporting
  • Conduct investigations of existing failing waterproofing and roofing
  • Manage repair and re-construction projects for residential, commercial, and government buildings
Key Responsibilities

Design and Oversight: Provide technical expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work.

Litigation Support: Support litigation efforts through expert witness evidence and reporting.

Investigations: Conduct investigations of existing failing waterproofing and roofing.

Project Management: Manage repair and re-construction projects for residential, commercial, and government buildings.

The ideal candidate has minimum 5 years local post graduate experience, a technical degree in engineering, architecture, or a closely related discipline, and expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems. They must be able to utilize their network of strata managers, asset owners, lawyers, and insurance adjusters to develop new business opportunities and grow the firm's service offerings.

Requirements

Technical Qualifications: Technical degree in engineering, architecture, or a closely related discipline.

Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years local post graduate experience.

Expertise: Expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems.

Networking: Ability to utilize their network of strata managers, asset owners, lawyers, and insurance adjusters.
