Waterproofing Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waterproofing Consultant to join our established Remedial and Facades team.

\

This exciting opportunity will allow you to apply your expertise across a diverse portfolio of projects, supported by leading professionals in the industry.

\The Role\
  • \
  • Provide technical expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work.\
  • Support litigation efforts through expert witness evidence and reporting.\
  • Critically evaluate building envelope performance.\
  • Contribute expert input on design and construction of building envelopes, with a strong emphasis on waterproofing systems.\
  • Offer design assistance services related to waterproofing, including material and detail selection.\
  • Investigate existing failing waterproofing and roofing.\
  • Review and provide input on development of waterproofing details and specifications.\
  • Expertly review waterproofing project submittal and RFI documents.\
  • Inspect and supervise inspection of work in progress related to waterproofing systems.\
  • Attend project meetings, including leading meetings or portions of meetings related to waterproofing.\
  • Manage repair and re-construction projects for residential, commercial, and government buildings.\
  • Utilize professional networks to develop new business opportunities and grow the firm's service offerings.\

    • Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience in Australia is mandatory.\
    • Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a closely related discipline.\
    • Expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems, including knowledge of relevant Australian standards.\
    • Experience in repair and re-construction, design, and project management of residential, commercial, and government buildings.\
    • Ability to work collaboratively, objectively summarize benefits and shortfalls, and communicate effectively.\
    • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office suite software.\
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.\
