About this role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced maintenance leader to oversee and perform maintenance services.

  • Manage and perform reactive and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment, furniture, fittings, grounds, and carparks.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with site managers and area managers to deliver maintenance services with minimal impact on residents and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of asset acquisitions and disposals, and ensure the maintenance of site vehicles, plant, and machinery.
  • Manage and liaise with contractors, tradespersons, suppliers, and volunteers to ensure work is completed to high standards.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a maintenance supervisory role.
  • Trade qualifications (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, plant, and equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and great communication skills.
  • Commitment to upholding BaptistCare's values and standards.
  • Sound computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A police check and NSW working with children check for paid employment purposes.
