Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description:

The role of a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor involves overseeing the maintenance activities of a manufacturing facility. This includes coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure that equipment and machinery are properly maintained, performing routine inspections to identify potential issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to train them in new technologies and procedures
  • Lead project teams to design and implement capital projects such as new equipment installations or renovations
  • Work with the management team to set priorities for maintenance projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for safety and quality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities maintenance with a strong background in leadership and management
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and other maintenance management tools
