Job Title: Software Technical Support Engineer

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Macquarie Park, NSW. As a key member of our Customer Success division, Pacific (Zone), you will be responsible for ensuring continued smooth operations for our customers by troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in a wide range of areas across SCADA verticals and products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve complex software issues, proposing workarounds for customers.
  • Document activities and findings accurately and timely in case management system.
  • Contribute to digital self-help materials promoting faster problem resolution for our customers while building a robust internal knowledge sharing platform.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other support centers and departments.
  • Focus on customer experience, contributing successful interactions.
  • Manage customer experience by regular and empathetic communication with customers while keeping focus on technical resolutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate 2-4 years of experience in Application Support within an ASX top 100 business.
  • Proficiency working with and understanding software architecture, software unit testing, and other aspects of the SDLC.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Working understanding of software and automation hardware communications and setup.
