About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Advisor. As a key member of our Policy and Programs Group, you will play a critical role in shaping Austrade's investment and trade policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and nurture team members to provide innovative policy advice and support the delivery of investment outcomes.
  • Build and maintain networks with government departments and agencies to ensure Austrade's position is relayed in whole-of-government policy initiatives.
  • Support team members to coordinate and develop Austrade's input into key areas impacting Australia's economic security.
  • Deliver high-quality data-driven briefing and analysis to inform government deliberations and outcomes.
  • Represent Austrade in whole-of-government processes and support the Senior Executive in policy deliberations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A well-developed understanding of whole-of-government collaboration and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse, and cross-cultural workplace.
  • Security clearance.
