This role is ideal for a professional with experience in infrastructure project management. As an Infrastructure Project Specialist, you will be responsible for independently managing projects or supporting the delivery of larger road, bridge, or traffic infrastructure and/or maintenance projects.

You will work closely with the Project/Contract Manager to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, including contractors and internal service providers
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will also need to have experience working with Primavera P6, Excel, and SAP, and a four-year Electrical/Civil engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.

The role involves administering and delivering contracts, acting as the representative on selected agreements. This is a Temporary Full-Time hybrid role based in Wollongong until 06/2026. Travel will be required to meet business needs.

As part of our team, you will contribute to both the development and delivery phases of infrastructure works, navigating and embracing highly regulated processes with confidence and efficiency.

You will also bring a high level of influence to the development and safety in design process, proactively manage delivery risks, and build strong working relationships with contractors and internal service providers.
