Senior Civil Engineer

We seek highly motivated Engineering professionals to join our Water Division and assist on water infrastructure projects in Wollongong.

Our projects span the lifecycle of delivery from feasibility studies through to detailed design packages for construction.

About the Role:

This role involves working with a diverse group of professionals designing water infrastructure solutions.

You will manage and assist in civil engineering, design management, and project management from planning to construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure as lead or member of a larger team.

You will engage in conceptual, preliminary and detailed design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats, and prepare documentation in various civil phases including site plans, utility plan/profiles, grading plans, cross sections, diagrams, submittal reviews and response to information requests as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate specific projects to deliver outputs on budget, on time and to quality standards.
  • Manage and assist in civil engineering, design management, and project management from planning to construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure as lead or member of a larger team.
  • Perform broad and varied water and wastewater infrastructure engineering design tasks, including engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and applications to regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartership/ RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded.
  • Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment plants.
