Job Title: Infrastructure Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Civil Site Engineer to lead the implementation of our infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of site-related activities, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, incorporating thorough understanding of drawings, specifications, quality, WHS, and environmental requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of quality, WHS, and environmental management systems across all projects.
  • Assist with daily project monitoring, including toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.
  • Monitor and update construction programs and site activity to maximise resource utilisation.
  • Procure materials in advance of construction programs to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Implement improvements for managing site-related costs and promoting operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or working towards.
  • 1-2+ years previous experience as an Engineer in the civil industry, ideally within residential subdivisions/bulk earthworks.
  • Current White Card & Drivers Licence.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality standards and practices.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with ability to show initiative and take ownership.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills, including strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills with ability to problem-solve.
  • Confidence in using technology, including proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
