Job Description:

Subsea Controls Engineering Leadership

Lead a team of engineers to develop innovative control solutions that enhance the capabilities, efficiency, and performance of control systems.

Provide technical expertise and governance to activities related to the control system install base within the region.

  • Develop scopes aligned with customer and project requirements and priorities.
  • Define Cost, Time, and Resource (CTR) requirements for engineering planning and forecasting.
  • Drive engineering and team activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Enhance regional ownership and accountability over project execution, fostering autonomy and regional capacity.

Collaborate during design reviews, working with controlled titles at all project stages, contributing to risk assessments and driving mitigation activities.

Ensure deliverables meet customer specifications, regional technical regulations, and standards.

Provide technical support and leadership during business and non-business hours, including rota-based 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements:

Engineering Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering, Industrial Computer Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of engineering experience in the subsea industry or related services.
  • Expertise in SCADA systems, PLC operations, instrumentation design and operation.
  • Experience with subsea control systems, including software development and communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of operational requirements for DCS, MCS, PCDMs, SCMs, SEMs, HPUs, XTs, and umbilicals.
