Senior Financial Accountant – Taxation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant with a strong focus on taxation to join our team at RetireAustralia. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of taxation compliance, debt facility compliance, and financial reporting.
Your key duties will include:
- Preparation of tax disclosures for financial statements
- Preparation of income tax returns
- Preparation of IAS, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns
- Supporting senior financial personnel on reporting of tax matters to the Audit Committee
- Taxation-related systems and process improvement
- Treasury-related administration and reporting
- Assisting in company secretarial matters
- Assisting the finance team with financial and management reporting responsibilities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree in Business or Commerce with a focus on Accounting
- CA or CPA qualification
- At least 4 years of experience in public practice or demonstrated success in a similar commerce role
- Strong knowledge of taxation and business services
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Applications
- National Police Clearance (current)
