Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at SkilledSuite. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive taxation services to our clients, providing expert advice and maintaining strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver taxation services, providing expert advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Develop and maintain robust client relationships through face-to-face interactions, phone, email, and Zoom.
- Offer specialized tax advice on Income Tax, CGT, GST, PAYG, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Division 7 A.
- Participate in strategic client meetings and provide ongoing business mentoring.
- Prepare comprehensive Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and SMSFs.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, FBT Returns, and Payroll Tax Returns.
- Liaise with government and taxation authorities such as the ATO and ASIC on client matters.
- Utilize electronic work papers for the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns.
- A completed degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 4 years of public practice, business services, and tax experience in Australia.
- CA/CPA qualification, or currently working towards this qualification.
- Proficiency in Xero, XPM, and Xero Tax.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly competitive salary range of up to $110,000, negotiable based on experience.
