OSHC Coordinator Role

The Extend After School Hours Care Service seeks an experienced and passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead our daily programs.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality activities that are safe, fun, and engaging for children;
  • Supervising and supporting children during after-school care hours;
  • Preparing and serving healthy food options;
  • Creating a positive and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff;
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues, school leaders, and the community.

This is a casual position working Monday to Friday, 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm, with paid administrative time and regular network meetings. We offer a range of benefits, including heavily discounted childcare fees, professional development opportunities, and a supportive management team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate 4, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in children's services or equivalent;
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check (willing to obtain);
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Knowledge of children's behavior and development principles;
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
