About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at Lendi Group. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business strategy and decision-making through insightful financial and commercial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Insights: Monitor business and cost trends, and provide actionable financial and commercial insights to enable strategic and operational decisions.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Be the go-to Finance contact across functional areas, providing expert guidance and support to business stakeholders.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Coordinate and deliver the annual Budget, periodic forecasts, and input into Board reporting and Investor presentations.
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models in Anaplan, and support business adoption of the platform.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Prepare financial analysis and business case financials to test commercial viability of business decisions.
  • Results Analysis and Commentary: Responsible for monthly results, including analytical commentary to discuss with senior leaders of the business.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities focused on process improvement, leveraging technology to improve reporting and forecasting.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead by example, influence as a key member of the Business Partnering team, and partner with the financial reporting and operations team to contribute to overall financial control effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified CPA or CA or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous background in finance business partnering and in an FP&A role.
  • Skills: Advanced level of Excel modeling skills (Anaplan experience is beneficial but not a pre-requisite).
  • Personal Qualities: Analytical, with a strong eye for detail and a high level of commercial acumen to drive and achieve successful business outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborative working style to partner business stakeholders, management, and with finance colleagues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuous improvement mindset; curious, proactive, and challenge the status-quo.
  • Time Management: Effective time management, ability to meet deadlines, and operate under time pressure in a dynamic environment.
