Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Finance Transformation Specialist to join our team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role that will focus on simplifying the accounting outcomes for Markets Products.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance Change and will be responsible for executing key regulatory priorities across the Markets Domain. The main objective of this role is to assess the readiness of Finance to operate a FRTB compliant framework.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Simplify and modernise the accounting and finance outcomes for Markets Products, including Loans and Deposits and Derivatives.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Basel 3 regulatory requirements and their application to Finance and Risk.
  • Create process maps for an FRTB compliant operating model and exception management.
  • Support Markets domain projects, specifically FRTB, through analysis, design, build, test responsibilities.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to improve both Finance and Market domains more broadly.
  • Manage project work to deliver a solution that meets business requirements and realises benefits within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a project role within Risk or Finance.
  • Substantial experience working with Markets Finance teams in both run and change capacities.
  • Degree qualified in Finance or Risk discipline; CA or CPA qualification is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills to work and influence various stakeholders across Finance & Risk.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Agile approach to analysis and problem-solving.

About the Role:

This role offers a competitive salary package, estimated at $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
