About the Role

This Personal Care Assistant opportunity is available at our multi-award-winning architecturally designed aged care residence, Lansdowne Gardens, in Neutral Bay. The ideal candidate will be part of a cohesive team dedicated to providing the best level of service and care to our residents.

You will deliver personal care to residents in a safe and effective manner, meeting their needs and preferences, and maximizing their health and wellbeing. As a key member of our team, you will live our values and work according to our policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care to residents in accordance with individual needs and preferences
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to ensure exceptional resident outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in aged care or a related field
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional level of service and care
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in contemporary aged care services
  • Sound understanding and commitment to person-centered care
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and quality improvement ideal
  • Cert III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care)
