Job Overview

This role supports the Category Lead - IT in providing lifecycle procurement advice and execution across corporate spend, focusing on IT initiatives.

The job holder is responsible for undertaking sourcing activities (procurement and contract management tasks), maintaining supplier arrangements, supporting the Category Lead – IT and Portfolio Manager, and servicing internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage market engagement activities and coordinate resources to support these programs while maintaining ethics and probity standards.
  • Provide sound advice to key clients on procurement and contractual matters in a fact-based, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies for relevant categories through detailed Procurement Strategy Plans.
  • Manage and maintain all supplier-related risks, policy, and governance requirements.
  • Support business stakeholders with contractual or commercial issues, including negotiations and resolving supplier disputes.
About You

You have experience in procurement and sourcing, preferably in a consulting, corporate, or government organisation. Your background includes the IT environment, hardware, network, and telecommunications services, professional IT services, software, and systems architecture, design, and data services. You possess project management skills and can engage with senior leaders to provide robust advice.
