Procurement and Sourcing Expertise

Support the Category Lead in providing strategic procurement advice and execution across the Corporate Spend portfolio, focusing on IT initiatives.

  • Undertake procurement activities, maintain and improve supplier arrangements, support internal stakeholders, and manage risks policy and governance requirements.
  • Manage market engagement activities, coordinate internal resources to support these programs, ensuring high standards of ethics and probity.
  • Provide sound and trustworthy advice to internal clients on procurement and contractual matters.
  • Develop long term strategies for relevant categories through detailed Procurement Strategy Plans.
  • Manage and maintain supplier and contract-related risks, policy and governance requirements.
Key Requirements

You have a strong background in Procurement and Sourcing, preferably in a consulting, corporate or government organisation. Experience in IT environment including hardware, network and telecommunications services, professional IT services, software and systems architecture, design and data services is required.

  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic projects in complex organisations.
  • Proven history of successfully closing out and executing major projects in a timely manner.
  • Well-developed judgement and problem solving abilities, ability to show initiative and innovation.
  • Exemplary stakeholder and relationship management at all levels.
