Job Description

As a Senior Category Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Category Lead - IT in providing strategic procurement advice and execution across WorkSafe's Corporate Spend portfolio. You will be responsible for managing procurement activities, maintaining supplier arrangements, and servicing internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and sourcing, with experience in the IT environment including hardware, network, and telecommunications services. You will also have strong project management skills and an ability to engage with senior leaders and executives.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide expert advice on all key supplier contractual matters.
  • Support the execution of extensions, exemptions, variations, and terminations of legal instruments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Experience in the IT environment, including hardware, network, and telecommunications services.
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to engage with senior leaders and executives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
